My crazy gorgeous girls
I don't think I could love my girls more. They crack me up on a daily basis, and are a constant joy in my life that I can't imagine being without.Sydni is finishing up her Junior year, and a few months ago ended her three year cheerleading career with a bang, or should I say a finger?! She makes me laugh even when she is supposed to be getting into trouble. She has a good head on her shoulders which makes me feel like she is something I did right in my life.
Alix Michelle my little "mini me", she could never deny who her mother is. Alix is a freshman and also cheered this school year. She has moved right into softball season at the high school. The girl has an awesome reach which helps make her a great first or second basemen. Like her sister she is a crack up, especially when she starts giggling uncontrollably.
This year has been crazy to say the least. The salon is busy as ever and takes up a lot of my time. To add a little more stress to my life (lol) this january I started taking classes at Lake Land working towards getting my Cosmetology Teaching License. This semester will be over in May thank god! And hopefully I can start the teaching program next January.
I will always do hair because I absolutely love it. My hope is to get a part time teaching position when I finish school.
So here I am quickly approaching 40 and just taking each day as it comes. My favorite thing in the world is to spend time with my family just being silly and laughing till we pee. The last few months have taught me that life can throw you a curve ball at anytime so you have to be ready. And no matter what happens, your family is who you count on. Oh and having a "girls weekend" every once in a while is a must!
